WebTechCFO was created to address the highly-specialized Accounting and Finance needs of Technology and Web-Based Enterprises. Tech companies are very dynamic and by nature need to move fast. As exciting start-ups start to take hold, it is crucial to have a trusted, experienced Finance Team in your corner. WebTechCFO views each engagement as a partnership and provides support and direction to companies who do not have a CFO or who are in need of senior financial support on a part-time, interim, or ongoing basis. Our team specializes in providing expertise in areas that become increasingly important as your technology company grows: Finance, Accounting, Budgeting / Forecasting, Business Plan preparation and other senior financial services. Our success has resulted in expanding our offering to now include a CTO / Technology Consulting Service that provides companies with the strategic and analytical technology functions that traditionally are provided by a full time senior technology manager. While our office is conveniently located to service Greater New York City, all of New Jersey, Philadelphia and the rest of Eastern Pennsylvania; our nationwide network of associates provides us with the ability to meet the needs of our clients no matter where they are located.

THE FOUNDER

Brian Hastings is the founder of WebTechCFO. Brian possesses a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree and over fifteen years of combined experience as a hands-on CFO / Senior Financial Consultant, VP of Finance, Director of Finance, and Manager of Finance and Purchasing. He has worked at both Early-Stage and Mature Technology/Internet Companies with Revenue ranging from under $1M to over $200M.

After 15 years of working in the Finance department of high-tech and IT corporations, Brian decided to take his experience and apply it to smaller companies that have the desire to take their business to the next level, but do not have senior financial expertise as part of their current staff. Brian takes pride in working with companies to provide solid financial direction to bridge the gap and help them realize their goals. In addition to the technical expertise that he has garnered, he also adds a personal touch that is so often overlooked by being able to impart his experience to, and mentor, the in-house Accounting/Finance staff and to truly create a cohesive, efficient Finance team.

Brian personally oversees all engagements and is the primary contact for every client. WebTechCFO understands the importance of the current project, but also appreciates the value of the long-term relationship that can be cultivated. As the needs of your company change, the WebTechCFO team will provide you with appropriate services to properly set the trajectory for long-term growth and value creation.

THE TEAM

The CFO Services are provided by financial executives possessing at least ten years of Technology Finance experience and have an extensive understanding of the issues that tech companies face every day. Brian Hastings is the primary contact for all engagements, and is available on-site as necessary. In addition, he selects the staff whose experience and technical proficiencies will best align with each project.

The CTO Services are delivered by senior technology executives with well over 15 years of technology experience. Walter Dennison has held senior technology positions with many of the leading financial services firms and has a long track record of creating and leading successful technology projects. The list of companies for which Walter has worked includes: Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Toronto Dominion Bank, Credit Suisse, and many others. Walter has had a broad array of roles during his career including: Global Systems Architect, Global Platform Designer, Platform Upgrade Project Designer and Technology Lead, Network Designer and Operations Manager, IT Organization Designer, IT Process Engineer, and many more. In addition, Walter possesses a BA from Swarthmore College, an MSE from the Moore School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Wharton School.
